Railway Fence Solutions: Chain Link Fence, Welded Mesh Fence, and Palisade Fencing for Secure Perimeter Enclosure along Railway Tracks
Railway fence, also known as railway fencing, is a kind of security fence placed along railways to stop people from trespassing on railway tracks and prevent metal and cable thieves from stealing signaling cables and overhead power lines. It keeps the public safe while reducing cable theft.
We have four types of security fence for railway uses: chain link fence, curvy welded fence, 358 high security fence and palisade fencing.
It define the boundary of railway tracks and facilities clearly to prevent unauthorized personnel from accessing to keep pedestrians and travelers safe and protect these railway facilities from theft and vandalism.
“358”is called from its mesh size is 3″×0.5″,8 refers to its wire number, converted into millimeters is 4mm,so the size of 358 guardrail is 76.2mm x 12.7mm x 4mm.358 safety fence mesh is narrow, not easy to be passed through by objects, such a small mesh with traditional hand tools to cut it difficult.Even not easy to climb,it is recognized as one of the most difficult barriers to break through,so it is called the safety fence, but also become a high strength fence.
The mesh of 358 fence can also be partially bent to enhance the aesthetic effect.
Curvy welded fence, also known as 3D security fence, is a kind of specially designed welded wire mesh with V-shaped bending curves in its longitudinal direction.
It is made of high quality carbon steel wires where wires in the horizontal and vertical direction are welded at their junctions to provide a rigid wire mesh fence.
Generally, the number of V-shaped curves varies as the height of welded wire mesh varies.
Its attractive appearance, rigid structure and excellent visibility make it become a popular security fence that is widely used in railways, airports, schools, factories, residential areas, gardens, parks, sports stadiums, etc.
